After the Torchlight

Satan-o-matic is one of my favourite tumblrs. Run by a graphic artist in (I think) Venezuela, the best posts are her self-portraits, flirty, often cheesecake-y shots in which she plays dress-up. A cheery amalgam of punk rock attitude, Japanese pop-culture aspiration and a delight in schlock-horror, her tumblr has a burlesque quality that’s often lacking in the world of actual burlesque today.
